Types of available instalment plans

Statement Instalment Plan

For repayments on your terms, a Statement Instalment Plan allows you to pay off the retail balance on your current statement in manageable monthly instalments, over a set term and lower interest rate than your standard Retail Purchase Rate.¹

Cash Instalment Plan

Important Information

Instalment plan offers are subject to eligibility and only available if your account is and remains in good standing (For example - your account is not in default, suspended or closed). Your instalment plan uses part of your existing credit limit. As you pay off your instalment plan, the amount you pay off will become available for you to use again as part of your credit limit at the standard annual percentage rates applicable to your account. While you have an instalment plan, payments will be first applied to any initial interest charge or instalment due, even if you have other balances accruing interest at a higher rate. To be eligible for the 10,000 Qantas Points offer, you must set up a Statement Instalment Plan of $2,500 or more before the offer ends on 31 March 2025. Only one Statement Instalment Plan can be set up per Statement Period. You must pay the Minimum Payment Due by the Payment Due Date each month for the first three consecutive months after the Statement Instalment Plan is set up. Qantas Points will be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Account up to 12 weeks from the date you pay your third consecutive Minimum Payment Due (Fulfilment). Qantas Points will not be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Account if your Statement Instalment Plan has been cancelled or repaid in full or your Account is not in good standing (For example - your account is not in default, suspended or closed) at Fulfilment. We reserve the right to withdraw or change the offer at any time without notice.

If you fail to pay the minimum payment due or any other amount by its payment due date, we charge interest on any unpaid instalment, instalment fee or initial interest charge component (and any interest calculated on any of them, and any interest on that interest) from the day after the payment due date. It will be calculated using the daily retail rate and the daily calculation method until they are repaid in full. We may also cancel your instalment plan. We will tell you if an instalment amount is overdue before we cancel the instalment plan. If your instalment plan is cancelled, the outstanding balance of your Statement Instalment Plan will revert to the Retail Purchase Rate and the outstanding balance of your Cash Instalment Plan will revert to the Cash Advance Rate.
