What is a Foreign Tax Form and why would I need one?

A foreign tax form is required to be completed for tax purposes when a new or existing customer applies for a reportable account and declares as a foreign tax resident, or when the Bank or a related entity of the Bank requires an existing customer to certify their foreign tax status.

A reportable account is a personal or non-personal account (including home & investment loans) where one or more person/entity is a Reportable Person.

The foreign tax form is provided in the Qantas Money Home Loan document pack and needs to be completed prior to settlement.

For definitions of Foreign Tax terminology, please refer to the Foreign Tax Glossary which is available with the Foreign Tax Form
